Chicken Crust Pizza
CHICKEN CRUST PIZZA
This is a great alternative for pizza, and adds some protein.
INGREDIENTS:
-1 pound of ground chicken1 egg-don’t need to add the egg, it holds together without it
-¼ cup parmesan cheese-optional
-¼ cup shredded mozzarella-optional 2 tsp Italian seasoning
-1 tsp garlic powder
Toppings of choice: I made half white pizza with onion, pesto, tomato,goat cheese, and parmesan. The other half is sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, onion, and pepperoni. You can also do a buffalo chicken pizza using hot sauce, celery, and blue cheese.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2.Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick foil. Spread chicken “crust” on a baking sheet, you can also use a 9x13 pan. Wet your hands to help spread it more easily. Bake for about 10-13 minutes. Remove and add pizza toppings and broil.
